We so wanted to avoid covering any of the 2009 Resort Collection fashion show, but how can you bypass Chanel? Karl Lagerfeld took his Chanel Cruise show poolside at the Raleigh Hotel in South Beach, Miami. Models walked a curved runway built over the pool. The closing performance a la Esther Williams featured the United States synchronized-swimming team clad in Chanel suits (lucky girls). The 74-look collection (men’s & women’s) was a throw back to another era mixed with high glamor. Simply stunning.
