I first came across Morgan Taylor Lacquer this past New York Fashion Week Fashion Week. I think it was backstage prior to Carmen Marc Valvo’s show. The models had their nails painted a beautiful gunmetal shade called Metaling Around. I had never heard of this brand before and I thought I knew them all! Turns out I hadn’t heard of Morgan Taylor because it’s a new line of prestige polishes named after Morgan Haile and Taylor Daniel, daughters of Hand & Nail Harmony (Gelish) CEO and Founder Danny Haile and Executive VP David Daniel.
The line of chic polishes is already comprised of 100 drool-worthy colors! All pigments are saturated, pure and finely milled for luminous metallics, never before seen shimmers, decadent crèmes, stunning sheers and more glistening glitters .All of the polishes are 3-Free (no DBP, Toluene or Formaldehyde) and the bottle itself was designed to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand. The ergonomic cap is lightweight and the brush has ultra-fine bristles to allow for smooth and precise application. Not bad for under $10!
Even though Morgan Taylor is new, the lacquers have already appeared on several runways in New York, London, and Milan. Designers Yigal Azrouel, Zac Posen, Thakoon, Betsey Johnson and Victoria Beckham are already fans. So am I.
