I have been a fan of Borghese beauty products since the 80’s. Fango Mud anybody? Now the company has just launched a new premium line of hair care products with Primary One Brands – a leader in the high-end professional salon branded product manufacturing and distribution industry.
This new line of Italian-inspired products features a range of professional grade, botanical enriched shampoos, conditioners and styling products, from Venetian Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner to Salermo Silking Hair Oil. The products are formulated with Borghese’s proprietary Acqua Di Vita® Complex which is found in mineral waters and volcanic mud in the Italian region of Tuscany, and is known for its rejuvenating effects.
“Borghese is built on a heritage that dates back to the 14th century when people first sought the healing waters of the Tuscan Earth,” said Georgette Mosbacher, president and CEO of Borghese, Inc. “Today, we are actively pioneering new products which are responsive to a woman’s beauty needs and wants, while staying true to our heritage. The new hair care line allows a broader range of consumers to enjoy our innovative and meticulously-designed products.”
I can only speak about the Salermo Silking Hair Oil as that is the only product in the line I have tried so far. I love hair oil for added shine and this one is fantastic, much like Moroccan Oil, but with a $15 price tag!
The new hair care products is available national drugstore chains and department stores, like CVS/Pharmacy and Walgreen’s and Duane Reade and more with prices ranging from $13 to $18.
