Celebrity Style: Celebs Love the Colorful Vibrancy of Louis Vuitton
When former Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesquiere took the helm at Louis Vuitton, leaving Marc Jacobs to concentrate on his namesake label, I worried this new direction would mean more monogram prints and less color for the brand. I was pleasantly surprised when it actually meant brighter shades and bolder looks. Don’t get me wrong, I like what Marc Jacobs did, (remember the Spring 2012 runway?) but there was something very young about his designs that didn’t happen this time around with Ghesquiere – even with all the neon hues and superhero themes
