Brooke Shields, meanwhile, will be on hand to give Paper Magazine’s Kim Hastreiter her Eugenia Sheppard Award. Audience members in the blog and Twittersphere won’t have to worry about their connectivity this year since the theater will be WiFi-equipped. And, to stay in step with the online techno trend, the CFDA posted a series of social photographer Hanuk’s prints of the “Flat Trova” — a fashionable take on the traveling gnome — up on their Facebook fan page last Friday, featuring everyone from Ross Bleckner to Esquire’s Nick Sullivan, Michael Stipe and his boyfriend Thomas Dozol, and Phillip Lim, JD Ferguson and Richard Chai. Other notable honorees for tonight's ceremony include Michael Kors for the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award and legendary supermodel Iman for the Fashion Icon Award.
