Cargo pant and pockets were everywhere on the Spring 2023 runways. From shiny satin cargo pants at Fendi, to parachute style at Brandon Maxwell, to built in cargo pockets on a trench at Sacai.
Designers modified button up shirts in a big way for spring 2023! Christian Dior draped one dolman-style, Carolina Herrera went prim with puff sleeves and Dries Van Noten showed a huge menswear shirt with a flirty skirt.
Clean, 90s inspired, muted-hued minimalist pant suits are back, from a slightly sporty vanilla number at Jil Sander, to a sleek column of blush pink at Victoria Beckham, to a sleeveless linen pant suit at Alberta Ferretti.
We are not huge fans of polka-dots, but this season they are done right! The best were a dot-print set at Saint Laurent, a sheer polka dot scarf over a tonal dot print denim jacket at Burberry and a mixed dot print ensemble at Proenza Schouler.
Sleek maxi dresses for spring 2023 were a standout. Saint Laurent showed a shiny leopard maxi, Ann Demeulemeester added side ruching to black, and Elie Saab stunned with a creamy white and gold column dress.
We loved the modern slant on skirts and dresses. From a textural skirt at Bottega Veneta, to a belted dress at Brandon Maxwell to a black caftan at Stella McCartney this trend is one you will want to own.
One of our favorite colors of the season is spring green! Pantone calls it “Classic Green”. Wear it for years to come, from a two-piece pants set at Lela Rose, to a classic trench at Akris to a flowing gown at Elie Saab.
Texture and fringe is. here to stay for spring 2023. Micheal Kors showed a sleek black fringe top, Bottega Veneta trimmed a knit set in feathery fringe and Jil Sander went all-out with head-to-toe fringe.
Florals bloomed in 3D! They ranged from a huge rosette on a red gown at Carolina Herrera to floral shapes cascading on jersey at Dries Van Noten to an oversized floral applique at Lela Rose.
