Take the total cost of an item and divide it by how many times you will wear it. When you use this formula you can find out how much you are spending on fashion.
You may be quite surprised that you are paying too much on inexpensive fashion that you don't wear alot.
On the flipo side, you may actually get more wear out of more expensive fashion because it is of higher quality.
I'd wear the $695 Jacket 40 times a year but may actually wear the less expensive one for $199 jacket 50 times per year.
I would wear the Tom Ford blouse 2 times a month for the next 2 years or 48 times. But I would wear the less expensive blouse less. I'd wear it once a month in the next 2 years or 24 times.
The Roger Vivier shoes are amazing but cost $1,625. I would wear them alot, at least 60 times. I'd wear the less expensive ($199 pair) 60 times too, so it looks like I’m getting the Bass loafers!
