Chanel Launching E-commerce
In the past, Chanel has notoriously held out on e-commerce, but good news to all online luxury shopping addicts! The French fashion house will launch e-commerce in 2016. Bruno Pavlovsky, Chanel’s president of fashion, also said three of the Métiers d’Art companies will launch e-commerce by the end of this year. After the announcement, Pavlovsky attended last night’s Chanel Métiers d’Art show in New York with Karl Lagerfeld. Other attendees included Julianne Moore, Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, Dakota Johnson, Lily Collins and Vanessa Paradis accompanied by daughter Lily-Rose Depp.
Havaianas Partnering with Dylan Lauren
Dylan Lauren is collaborating with Brazilian sandal brand Havaianas for a limited edition collection. The sandals will be available on Friday at Dylan’s Candy Bar, Bloomingdale’s, Havaianas and dylanscandybar.com. They’ll come in two lollipop-inspired patterns designed by Lauren. “I always knew I wanted to create a lifestyle brand- and watching my dad [Ralph Lauren] go from having a tie company to a full lifestyle collection was certainly very inspiring,” said Lauren, founder and CEO of Dylan’s Candy Bar.
Diptyque Debuts Beverly Hills Candle
Diptyque is celebrating its newest boutique in Beverly Hills by creating a limited-edition candle. It features a light citrus scent with notes of lemon, mint, orchid and freesia. The wallpaper in the Beverly Hills Hotel inspired the candle’s packaging. Ten percent of the proceeds from the Diptyque Beverly Hills Candle will be donated to LAXArt, a nonprofit contemporary art space.
