Calvin Klein and Opening Ceremony Partner Up
Calvin Klein and Opening Ceremony have partnered up on a new limited edition men’s and women’s underwear line. The pieces will feature the classic Calvin Klein logo elastic band with a special Opening Ceremony label. The line will be exclusively sold in Opening Ceremony stores and its e-commerce site starting today. Based around Calvin Klein Underwear’s modern cotton style, the Women’s silhouettes include the modern cotton bralette and boy short, while men’s options include the modern cotton boxer brief, a hip brief and a crewneck T-shirt. They are prepackaged in box sets that come in white, black and gray and retail from $30 to $45.
Ellen DeGeneres and Bergdorf Goodman Collaboration
Come September, Ellen DeGeneres will be spending lots of time in New York. Her two shows will be taping in a TBA Gotham location, and now her ED by Ellen collection will be sold at Bergdorf Goodman. Pieces that will be sold include a $45 T-shirt to a $1,495 hand-knit cashmere fisherman scarf. ED Home includes: ceramic objects, textiles and soft goods.
Reed Krakoff Comeback?
The brand Reed Krakoff suspended operations back in March, but recently a new banner on their website has appeared saying “Thank you for visiting. We are currently undergoing a thrilling transformation, and reedkrakoff.com will soon have a completely new look and feel. Check back to discover our exciting revolution.” The image accompanying the message looks like a Milliennial-targeted label. Krakoff declined to comment and the two New York boutiques remain closed. Looks like we will have to wait and see.
