The Best Last-Minute Father’s Day Gift Guide

What can I say? I got a little behind on our Father’s Day Gift Guide this year. But then again, who among us has not totally spaced on it at one year or another? So here is a gift guide dedicated to those last-minute gifts you know Dad loves to receive. Just in case you forgot to put a lot of thought into his present, these will not be a dead giveaway.

Lucky Tackle Box Subscription, from $15.99 per month – $46 per month

If my father were still alive this would have been the perfect gift for him. He loved to fish. So if there is a fisherman in your life he will be so grateful you thought of a subscription tackle box. Simply chose the box you think he will enjoy most and they will ship it in a box to him directly each month. He can then learn to use the baits in his box with their library of how-to videos. So he not only gets baits but new techniques, because even though Dad thinks he knows everything about fishing he probably doesn’t.

AnneMarie Borlind Caring Shaving Cream, $35.30 & Revitalizing Shower Gel, $22.67

Sick of him always borrowing your anti-aging cream or worse yet he won’t use one because he’s too manly for that? Well you can hide it in his shaving cream and shower gel! It’s time to get your man some moisturizer…before you discover he’s poaching your supplies. And this brand is all natural and organic.

Echo Spot, $129.99

Here is an Echo he is going to love. Well possibly the whole family will, but say it’s for him! It uses 2nd generation far-field voice recognition to watch video flash briefings, see music lyrics (he’s always getting them wrong), weather forecasts, honey-do lists, browse and listen to Audible audiobooks, and more. All hands-free—just ask. It connects to Alexa so just ask it to play a song and stream books from Pandora, Spotify, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, and Audible. He can even ask it to request an Uber and order pizza.

Catstudio The Original Geography Collection Amazing Frosted Glasses, $16.25 each

Help Dad celebrate the places that mean the most to him with these awesome frosted glasses from catstudio. Each design captures the things that make a university, city, state or landmark special. I had to get Brooklyn for my husband because that’s where he is from (even if he doesn’t like to admit it), one for New York City because that’s where he claims he’s from, one for D.C. because he went to Georgetown and of course one of Long Island because that’s where we live now. Get a set that best reflects your “Dad’s” life!

BlackSocks Sockscription (various prices)

Is Dad always losing one sock in the laundry? Send Dad 12 pairs of socks in one shipment or 3 pairs 4 times a year! Whichever floats his boat. He’ll receive the same socks of the same color. This saves on sorting after the wash – all the socks match and he won’t have to throw any away just because he lost one. Perfect right?

TrailKeg Gallon Package, now $179.99

If he loves to make craft beer or just drink it, he is going to LOVE this! TrailKeg is a vacuum-insulated pressurized beer growler that keeps beverages cold for 24 hours and perfectly carbonated for weeks. Perfect for backyard BBQ’s, weekend getaways or to share his homebrew with friends, TrailKeg’s gallon bottle is the perfect way to keep his beloved beer ice cold this summer. Since it’s simple to transport and vacuum insulated, TrailKeg also makes it easy to support locally crafted beer. He will also be the hit at any neighborhood BBQ when he shows up with this!

Ray-Ban New Wayfarer Tortoise Polarized Square Sunglasses, $142.98

A sleek update on a classic. No man could look bad in these acetate square shaped frames in shiny havana tortoise with sun protective grey green polarized lenses. Even if he’s square he will look hip.

MAN by ALEX AND ANI Anchor Man’s Cuff, $48

Bet you thought ALEX AND ANI only made women’s jewelry right? Or was that just me? Now they offer an entire new line of masculine cuffs, chain necklaces, and gemstone beaded bracelets for that Dad who’s a little funky. Each piece is designed with modern touches, while embodying influences by ancients and including symbols to match every important man in your life. The Anchor Cuff will show he is the grounding rock in your life. It comes in either gold or silver finish.
