Spring/Summer 2012 Trend: The Jacket Vest


Somewhere between the blazer and the vest lies the “jacket vest.” It’s basically a jacket without sleeves. The tell-tale signs are the lapels. Now don’t think you can just go an lobotomize that jacket you have not worn in years (well if you are a good, DIY-er I guess you could). These jacket vests seem to be a little more a-lined and drape at the bottom. This is really a casual look so don your favorite pair of jeans and wear your jacket-vest over a wife-beater and you are good to go. We just love the jacket vest trend for Spring ’12.
