Teeth Straightening for Over 40 Smiles
I did almost everything my orthodontist told me to do (I did try to eat a caramel apple once which proved disastrous) and even wore my retainer for a year or two before I lost it. He never once told me to expect my teeth to shift after the retainers were long gone and I entered middle age. Mind you, the shift was very gradual. Once you have determined that you are ready to straighten your teeth with aligners, simply contact SmileDirectClub. Your 3D smile is then reviewed by a duly licensed dentist or orthodontist, who will guide your new smile from beginning to end. This at home teeth alignment treatment plan lasts, on average, for 6 months.
The office visit lasts about a half hour or so and your kit should arrive within 2-3 weeks. Here is some exciting news, you can now have a choice of regular aligners or Nighttime Clear Aligners (more in these below) for the same price of $1895. Within a few days you will be emailed a preview of how your smile will transform. Once your box arrives, you will find it contains easy-to-follow instructions, a retainer case, a lip balm, and a few other goodies. Basically you pull out the tiny packet that holds that week’s aligners and wear them all day and night, except when you drink hot liquids or eat. That’s it. Some aligners you wear for one week and some for two.
The best part is that there are no trips to the dentist or orthodontist for check-ups. Instead, dentists/orthodontists monitor your progress remotely through the SmileCheck portal, checking in every 90 days or as needed. Remember when I signed up on their site? Well they also send me email reminders when it was time to switch to my next set of aligners. I loved that.

I wondered if these actually worked. When I was a kid I needed braces my family couldn’t afford them so it’s nice to see it more attainable for everyone.
Yes, they really do work. Not for people who have bite issues though. I know a lot of people who needed braces but families could not afford them so this is a wonderful and discreet solution. I am proof you are never too old too!
