Front Row Fashion. Fashion Favorites of the Week.

This week we saw a range of colors, textures, and glammed up styles. At first I wasn't so sure we were going to get decent looks—many of the A-listers tried too hard to make a statement right off the bat.  But it was the younger crowd that particularly set me off—they made their own statement—in neons, graphic geometric shapes, and lavish prints that got me excited about the state of fashion again.

And while designers brought out the colors, tailored their draping, and piled on the patterns—celebs, particularly the younger set, made sure they stuck to what was best for them—flowy blouson tops, leather jackets and fitted blazers, and even some art deco to make their own statement de joir while keeping true to their personal style. Here are my personal picks for the best celeb outfits of the week!

Shenae Grimes at Pamella Roland

Miss Beverly Hills 90210 may be a newbie to the fashion world, but she sure knows how to put colors together.  The green bomber jacket this orange print dress is just magnificent!

Mischa Barton at G-Star

I may not always like Mischa Barton's fashion choices, but she always has her own personal style. Here is one of her best looks to date–topped off with a funky hat that's totally her own. Completely Victorian with a mod Warholian punch.

Kim Kardashian at Y-3

What I love about this jacket is that it's just so different in that art sculpture kind of way.

Natalia Vodianova at Marchesa

Something about the high-neck color, tucked in polka-dot print shirt and skinny leather pants just screams Eurochic!

Rachel Bilson at Brian Reyes

It's very hard for me to see Rachel Bilson looking bad–but she did on a number of occasions this week, at BCBG in that strange flowy red dress, in that ill fitted blazer/pant set at Zac Posen. But not here in Brian Reyes. I think it's all about the dress though…

Mena Suvari at Catherine Malandrino

I want this dress! Haven't you heard me say it enough?

Aubrey O'Day at Custo Barcelona

Yes, the P. Diddy girl normally looks trashy. But only she can make this colorful off-the-shoulder rainbow print dress look cool. Now really, does she have to try so hard to be Paris Hilton?

Olivia Palermo at  Ports1961

Leave it to the new reality show star to wear jeans to Fashion Week! But she dresses them up nicely with the thick striped, geometric shaped blazer, leaving her days on the socialite scene behind her.

Kellie Pickler at Farah Angsana

This week, country singer Kellie Pickler went from trashy to classy to trashy again.  Not in this form-fitting navy blue strapless dress at Farah Angsana, though. Her best look to date.

Mary Alice Stephenson at Dennis Basso

Love it or hate it, Mary Alice Stephenson is one of the few middle aged women to try trends like ombre and mix them with timeless classics like these wide leg trousers and do it well.

Sherri Saum at Walter

We saw a lot of black and black on celebs this week, and while black is always nice, there's something about mixing other muted colors that are great for classic East hipster homegirl looks without shouting, "Look at me! Look at me!" the way some of that neon did. Gray on gray with navy blue in between and the boots add a downtown cool. I could wear this on the weekend.

Joy Bryant at Zac Posen

Can you tell I love prints? Some of the stars worked them in so well this Fashion Week. Joy Bryant is a perfect example of someone who knows how to wear Zac Posen well. Love how the shoes offset the dress.
