Second City Style's 12 Days Of Christmas (Shopping) '08. Day 2: Natayle Henry's Picks

12days2008_2

Christmas—my favorite time of year. The eggnog and cookies, the lavish meals, mistletoe and best of all gifts! With the season of giving (and receiving) rapidly approaching, I have selected my favorite must-have items for Christmas. I hope Santa is good to me this year!

Too Faced Retractable Kabuki Brush $28.50
Everyone who knows me knows that I love products I can take on-the-go. The Too Faced Retractable Kabuki brush is perfect! Not only is it pink (my favorite color) but it’s compact, the bristles are the softest bristles to have ever touched my skin and it gives superb coverage.

Tom_ford

Tom Ford Luminous Hair Perfume $80
Ever since Chanel discontinued their Allure Hair Mist, I’ve been trying to find something I could love as much. Imagine my delight when Tom Ford introduced the Luminous Hair Perfume. A richly seductive scent of his popular Black Orchid perfume, this hair perfume leaves tresses lightly fragranced, silky and soft.

Thermaclear

ThermaClear Acne Clearing Device $149
Pimples always seem to pop up at the wrong time—not that there is a great time to get one, but right before a commercial shoot or big date is definitely not the best time. ThermaClear uses a Thermal Pulse Technology similar to the laser treatment technology dermatologists use to treat acne. When use at the first sign of a pimple, it shortens the life of the pimple by neutralizing the bacteria. Best of all, it literally takes 2 seconds to zap the zit into oblivion!

Rosetta_stone_francais_2

Rosetta Stone Language Learning Software $500
It’s a dream of mine to have a Carrie Bradshaw moment similar to when she travels to Paris and shops to her hearts content—minus the whole wiping out in Dior and not mastering the French language. Rosetta Stone offers a fast and effective way to learn a new language by completely immersing yourself into the dialect. The teaching method is the same as when learning how to speak during childhood– by connecting the language in real-life context.

Olympus_stylus_1030_digital_camera

Olympus Stylus 1030 SW Digital Camera $299-$450
I love to have the latest in technology, hence my new obsession with the Olympus Stylus 1030 digital camera. It’s shockproof, waterproof, crushproof and freezeproof, making this camera ideal for my many excursions.

8035_blk_3

Shanghai Tang Glasses $375
The best sunglasses (and optical glasses) I’ve EVER put on my face! A luxury line from China, the Shanghai Tang line has made its way to the US. Adorned with chic Chinese symbols, these glasses can make anyone look like a star!

Isola_isabella_beach_coverup

Isola Isabella “Vivienne” Cover Up $536
A brilliant line of exquisitely made swimsuit cover-ups and après beach wear that effortlessly transitions from the beach (or boat) to dinner. Tastefully embellished with Swarovski Crystals, this line embodies elegance and class. **The Vivienne cover up isn’t available until January 2009, but you have the opportunity to win one before it’s available—see information below!**

Tangee_clutch_2

Tangee Clutch $230
I believe that you can never have too many handbags. This clutch would be a perfect addition to my collection. With the supple leather and intricate detail this bag doesn’t just accentuate an outfit, it makes it!

Beleaf_bag_4

Beleaf Bag $25
In an effort to be more Green, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect organic cotton tote. The Beleaf bags are made of organic cotton and are imprinted with water-based inks making them not only great for our environment fashionable.

Toys_for_girls

Toys for Girls $80
What girl doesn’t love toys? This book is perfect for the girl who aspires to have only the best. The pages are adorned with luxury products ranging from chic accessories, unique jewelry to high-end fashion and lavish domestic appliances. Great way for a girl to dream.

Shirley of Hollywood $55-$100
Shirley of Hollywood offers several fantastic lingerie lines but my absolute favorite is their 60th Anniversary Collection. The sultry line offers a modern twist on vintage glamour—which I absolutely adore! With the return of wearing lingerie as outerwear, these pieces will transcend from daywear to nightwear quickly and effortlessly.

Love some of the items you saw here? Wish you could give or receive some of these gifts for the holiday? Well, you might have the opportunity to get exactly that by winning several items from my Christmas Wish List! I might not get everything (or anything) on my wish list, but you can have Christmas a little early by telling me why winning these items would make your holiday season.
