To add to a growing family of 35 worldwide locations, the Parisian luxury accessories brand, Roger Vivier, has opened a corner shop at Neiman Marcus Michigan Avenue in Chicago. The new shop showcases the lavish world of Roger Vivier and brings the elegant Parisian spirit to Chicago.
Throughout Vivier’s career, he seduced some of the most elegant women from around the world with his style, such as Queen Elizabeth II, Jacqueline Kennedy, Grace Kelly, the Empress of Iran and the Duchess of Windsor. He also worked with some of the most coveted names in the fashion world, including Yves Saint Laurent, Madame Grès, and from 1953 until his death in 1998 with Christian Dior, who invited Vivier to design the shoes that would be presented with his dresses.
With current Creative Director Bruno Frisoni at the helm today, Roger Vivier’s vision lives on by captivating the style of the “first ladies” of the modern times, including Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, Jennifer Lawrence, Julianne Moore, Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet, Freida Pinto and Catherine Deneuve. With this new Chicago space, a selection of women’s footwear, handbags and accessories will reflect Roger Vivier’s classic style reinvented with suede, fringe details, studs and graphics.
