The largest and most comprehensive cancer center in Europe, The Royal Marsden and the Ralph Lauren Corporation have announced a new partnership. The partnership between these two will help fund a state-of-the art breast cancer research facility in Chelsea, London. After Ralph Lauren was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in the late 1980s, Lauren has been dedicated to the fight against cancer. After his close friend and The Washington Post’s fashion editor Nina Hyde shared her breast cancer diagnosis with him, Lauren co-founded the Nina Hyde Center for Breast Cancer Research at Georgetown University as a tribute to her. In this rare video Lauren shows his drive to fight cancer and gives insight on his own experience with the illness.
