Fabulous One Piece Swimsuits: Splurge vs Steal

Whether you go to a beach, practically live at the pool, or attend one pool party all summer, you need a fabulous swimsuit! And what could be better than a designer look to show off your style. You can splurge on a designer one piece swimsuit or get one that has some strong similarities for a steal. Take a look at what I found.

One Piece Swimsuits Splurge vs Steal

First, I took a look at the designer styles and they are certainly amazing! This season’s swimwear includes ruffles, ruching, belted looks, one shoulder and interesting necklines. Patterns include animal prints, florals, paisley, patchwork and color blocking as well as the always sleek and classic solid black. However designer one piece swimsuits come with a hefty price tag. And some of them, gorgeous as they are, may not be so flattering. Many do not even offer bra pads which is necessary if you are well endowed or are small chested and need extra shaping.

I did find some very inexpensive one piece swimsuits that have the look and feel of the latest designer styles. They will not have the same quality and may only last one season, but at these low prices you can test out a style, or simply get several!

Leopard Print Swimsuit

Nothing screams fashion more than a leopard print swimsuit. Leopard print is a neutral so you can wear it with a black or white coverup or a pop of bright color. This Dolce and Gabbana Cutout Leopard-print Swimsuit is a collectable classic for $675, but you can go wild with this Mooslover Women Leopard Tummy Control One Piece Swimsuit from Amazon for only $23.

Tropical Floral One Piece Swimsuit

Dolce and Gabbana made quite a statement on the runways with their amazing prints for Spring 2o21. This D&G Floral Patchwork Shirred Halter One-Piece Swimsuit is so striking but it has a runway price of $1,025. Its not patchwork, but may only be a part of the tropical print but you can get the look with this Kona Sol Pique Bandeau Classic One Piece Swimsuit for only $40 from Target.

Pretty Paisley Print One Piece

This Johnny Was Boho Floral Wrap One-Piece Swimsuit has such a pretty print, but the price is pretty high at $198. It is worth the investment, but you can pick up this Aqua Green Ring Back One Piece Swimsuit from Target in a paisley print for only $40, and it has flattering rushing at the waist.

Black Ruffle Silhouettes

This Zimmerman Cassia Wrap-effect ruffled Swimsuit for $365 is so stunning and chic. It is totally on-trend and you’ll be the hit of the beach or pool. But you can spend 10% of the price and get this H&M High Leg Swimsuit to try out the trend for only $35.

Elegant Black and White Color Block

This super elegant black and white Balmain One-shoulder Button-embellished Cutout Swimsuit has a dressed up tuxedo feel for $600. Or you may like this SweatyRocks Women’s One Piece Color Block suit from Amazon for only $20! The v-neck with 2 straps is easier to wear too. Who would think a brand named “SweatyRocks” would make a Balmain look-alike!

Teal Floral

This teal floral Johnny Was Ciaga Bandeau One-Piece Swimsuit has a flattering square neckline for $198. I also found a very similar print on Amazon with this Cupshe V Neck One Piece Swimsuit with an equally flattering v-neck as well as ruffles for only $29.

It’s up to you! Will you splurge or steal a one piece swimsuit this summer?
