Monday, September 8, 2014: On Day 5 of New York Fashion week Carol headed down to Chelsea to see the Lafayette 148 New York Spring Collection at their showroom. Their neoprene is tissue light and made in Italy like all of their fabrics.
The easy-going Lafayette 148 spring 2015 sport collection was adorable.
We spotted Glenda Bailey in line for the Dennis Basso show at the Theatre at Lincoln Center.
Dennis Basso was inspired by Mediterranean luxury resorts in the 60s. This white chinchilla and alligator vest worn with capris was very chic and a little Fellinisque.
Another amazing look: a white mink and alligator jacket at Dennis Basso. Can we throw it on with jeans?
We went to “The Fashion Edit” HSN’s annual fall fashion collections at the Empire Hotel.
Carol liked this KO Stories by Kelly Osbourne jacket. The collection will launch September 25th!
HSN offers a multitude of handbag shapes, colors and sizes by Snob Essentials by Tina Craig and Kelly Cook.
Carol was pleasantly surprised by the Georgine spring ’15 collection at the Pavilion at Lincoln Center. The collection was the utmost in luxury with a studio 54 vibe. It including gold lame dresses, laser cut leather suits, leather shorts and swimwear, as well as flowing silk chiffon tops and coverups.
Madelyn went to the Reem Acra spring ’15 collection at the Salon at Lincoln Center where she saw a gorgeous parade of blush, blue and aqua gowns floating down the runway.
