New York Fashion Week Day 1: Thursday, February 6, 2014
It was chilly and quiet outside the Lincoln Center tents on the first morning of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
The snow! The snow! It was piled sky high around the streets of New York City making walking in heels nearly impossible. Don’t worry, die-hards and idiots tried. Not us.
The Jay Godfrey presentation at the Hub had a classic rock ‘n roll guitarist playing our favorite 70s tunes, man. He got the Led out!
Costello Tagliapietra showed clean lines, unusual hues, lots of separates and, as always, beautiful fitted dresses. We never miss their shows at Milk Studios!
Second City Style Fashion Editor Madelyn got a NYFW blow-out at John Frieda.
Madelyn checked out the Peter Pilotto For Target preview shopping event. Now it’s available at Target and Net-A-Porter.
Go Red! Later that night we attended the Red Dress Collection. This photo was the finale (a dance party on the runway) at Lincoln Center. We loved seeing Joan Jett and Joan Van Ark walk the runway!
