Looks for Less: A Chic, Versatile Autumn Ensemble

Crisp and sunny autumn weather doesn’t mean it has to be tricky to get dressed every morning, and it definitely doesn’t have to mean you must reach for the same pair of jeans either. You can easily style different pieces together to create an unexpected look by mixing and matching items that are probably already in your closet, or definitely should be! The pieces in this article would look great during different seasons on their own, but together they create a versatile autumn ensemble that works well for changing weather.

A versatile autumn ensemble

Every woman should have a beautiful wrap skirt and this floral maxi skirt from ASOS is elegant and flattering. The print isn’t overly sweet but it’s still feminine and perfect for both the office or a special event. This skirt would look beautiful with a crisp white button down shirt and sandals in the summer, but styled with this look it’s perfect for fall in a very unexpected way.

There’s nothing better than a cozy sweater in chilly weather, and this season H&M has some premium mohair-blend sweaters that would look sophisticated with fancy athleisure inspired pants. Instead consider pairing it with something a little more unexpected like this floral maxi skirt. The fuzzy texture of the sweater beautifully contrasts with the satin of the skirt and the result is gorgeous and effortless.

Balance out your look with these boots from Urban Outfitters (they’re on a serious sale right now too!) They have a peep toe, sturdy heel and will elongate your legs. The boots are perfect with this look, especially if you have a dark pedicure. Sometimes fall calls for a beanie, and this one from Free People is chic (definitely not reminiscent of an obnoxious hipster beanie) and will keep your ears warm during your commute. Factoring in a beanie with this outfit will add a pop of flair for sure.

If you need a new clutch to stash your lipstick, keys and wallet during dinner or while running errands, this clutch from Anthropologie is fun and the sequins are gorgeous too!

Don’t be sad it’s the end of summer. Instead march into the refreshingly chilly weather knowing you’re wearing a unique outfit without spending a ton of cash!
