These Looks for Less Were Made for Walking

For many women, staying sane during this quarantine includes taking long walks and spending time (responsibly) outside in nature. I’ve rounded up some accessories that you can use during your stay-at-home springtime exercise excursions! Of course, you can use these after the pandemic is over too. They’re affordable and will last a long time, so the cost per wear will be worth the purchase price. These looks for less are made for walking!

Affordable Running Shoes

I scoured the internet for affordable running shoes and stumbled upon these sneakers from Adidas. They come in three colors and are more affordable than other, comparable shoes I found. (Right now take an extra 30% off using the code: APRIL.) These would be ideal for walks or casual weekend errands.

The Ideal Top for Exercise

This top from Free People is the perfect base for your workout outfit. The crop top is available in a whopping thirteen colors! Surely one will catch your eye and it gets great reviews. Women are praising its comfort and practicality. It’s longer than a typical sports bra so it’s optimal for layering and great for walks, yoga or lounging around the house.

Retro Sporty Hat

Hats are foolproof for keeping the sun off your face. This hat from Nike is fun and features a retro design inspired by iconic ‘90’s footwear. I love the bright colors and contrast cord detail. The patch is well designed too.

Oversized Sunglasses for Maximum UV Protection

Sure, a lot of us might dream of or even covet expensive sunglasses, but there are also a ton of sunnies out there that are more affordable than the Ray-Bans I would typically highlight in this column. This pair of oversize tortoiseshell sunglasses from ASOS are affordable and offer UV protection with their large frames.

Looks for Less for Walking: Hands-Free Convenience

Fanny packs or belt bags have been making a comeback over the past couple years. If you’re open to it, they’re really convenient for carrying your essentials during a walk, run, or even in the future at a public event where you don’t want to carry a purse. I love Herschel Supply Co and have carried their backpacks for years. Here’s a fanny pack by Herschel Supply Co that utilizes their classic, simple, utilitarian design. It comes in three patterns as well, so there’s bound to be a style that works for you.

The Water Bottle That Will Last Forever

Hydro Flasks have been popular for a while now and are great for walks. They might seem expensive, but if you’re in the market for a lightweight reusable water bottle, they will last forever. This wide mouth version available through Urban Outfitters is available in nine chic colors. They keep beverages cold for 24 hours and hot for 12 hours.

Convenient AirPods Case

I got a case for my AirPods for Christmas and I’ve loved it ever since. (If you’re clumsy like me, it’s best to have a case over everything!) These AirPods cases from Anthropologie come in the standard AirPods size and a size for AirPods Pro. They’re shock resistant silicone and come with a carabiner so you can carry them with you conveniently. The four colors they’re available in are all sophisticated, so take your pick!

Soak Up the Sunshine

I hope you enjoy springtime and get to spend some time outdoors (don’t forget to wear sunscreen)! Shop these picks to compliment your walks outside with practical accessories that will prove useful even after the stay at home orders are lifted. You’ll use these budget friendly accessories seasons to come!
