Lifestyle: Becoming A Beach Bound Babe

Lifestyle: Becoming A Beach Bound Babe

Can’t stand all this gloom and cold either? Yeah, we know. We got a taste of the warm weather but it appears it didn’t hold out for very long, and now we’re all back in winter jackets for the time being. So, it can’t hurt to dream about hitting the beach, right? Maybe now we can think about future purchases for the 90 degree weather that will be here fairly soon. You can become a beach bound babe right now.

If you’ve got the dough, you might be able to make it to Miami or California. While the oceans are still cool, you can try to brave the temps and splash around a bit. Plus, it’s better when you are already in the water (or that’s what our friends tell us). Toss on your favorite swimsuit (bonus points if it’s in a bright color) and get ready to relax next to some cool water.

You don’t necessarily have to do everything at the closest waterfront. You can plan to make your own sandy haven in your backyard (or maybe just the apartment porch). It all depends on the size and what you’ve got to work with so make sure you grab what make it work for you. Snatch a kiddie pool if you just need to dip your feet in something cool, and wish really hard for summer to come sooner.

Whatever you decide to do for your summer beach “getaway,” just make sure you’re wearing as few layers as possible!
