As much as I love to meticulously piece together the perfect outfit, I will admit that sometimes the process is burdensome. I’m either on a time crunch or just can’t quite find the right combination. It’s on those days that I’m super grateful for this month’s trend: the jumpsuit! I’ll show you how to wear a jumpsuit.
Jumpsuits are fantastic because they are a complete outfit in just one piece and perfect for the busy life of the over 40 woman. I especially love them because they are a wonderful alternative to dresses, and maybe I’ll lose my girl card for this, but I’d wear pants over a dress any day!

Lots of designers presented the jumpsuit for fall 2018. After doing a recap of the shows, I noticed how most of the jumpsuits on the runway were constructed using lush fabrics like leather and velvet. I was completely taken with the upscale yet utilitarian leather jumpsuit by Zadig and Voltaire. I simply need that in my closet immediately!

One of the more toned-down versions was presented by Fendi in black silk satin with contrasting white high neckline and cuffs. If you are looking for some breath-taking fashion moments, go back and scan through the fall 2018 RTW shows like I did. You will not be disappointed.
How To Wear A Jumpsuit
So what’s not to love about throwing on a jumpsuit and going about your day? They are the perfect alternative to wear to a semi-formal event or party; or just pull on a casual one to lounge around or run your errands. I personally love to get fancy with jumpsuits. I wear mine to work and to weddings to stay comfortable. I always add some fabulous jewelry and unexpected shoes and the result looks elegant and polished.
