Style Your New Apartment!

Style Your New Apartment!

It’s the beginning of April, which means it’s the prime house/apartment hunting time. Maybe you are still looking for the place to call your home, or you might have already found it. The most important thing you have to do now is decorate. Style your new apartment! Some people thrive on making their place their own and picking every single piece of furniture. Or, you might be like me, and the thought of looking at one more paint sample is enough to make you want to pull out your hair and rip every sample book from the wall to be burned in the middle of Home Depot. Never you worry! There’s only a few new pieces you have to buy when you settle on your next abode.

Even though more people believe the living room is the most important room in the home, I think it’s the bedroom. A new bed makes everything better. It’s the place where you spend the most time. I mean, we all try for eight hours or more but we might have to keep dreaming. And on top of getting the most comfortable mattress, you can get a super comfy comforter.

You probably won’t even think about this but consider new doorknobs. Yeah, you heard me. Doorknobs are such a simple change that you might not realize how they completely change the look of a room until you replace them. When you think about, it is the first thing you touch before you walk in somewhere. So, why wouldn’t you want the best? You can choose a more modernized, sleek silver style or go for an art deco rose gold version.

Everyone always wants to stop by, have a glass of wine and get cozy on your couch, so make sure you have a good one! A nice neutral sofa is perfect for every style decor you can think of. Bonus points if you can change the covers!

It doesn’t take a lot of changes to make a house a home, just a few new, properly-placed items that make your place feel extra comfy. Welcome home!
