Glamour Women of The Year Awards 2017: Best And Worst Dressed

For once, it wasn’t the fashion or “glamour” that won the night but the truly inspiring women in music, fashion, sport, science and goodwill that rocked the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2017. From the Wonder Woman director who created a female superhero powerhouse with her film to the ladies of #MeToo who broke the Harvey Weinstein scandal and came out with sexual abuse stories.

Sure, I’d love to focus on those incredible women, but we’re here to talk about fashion. For the most part, it too, did not disappoint.

Best Dressed
Glamour Women of The Year Awards 2017
Nicole Kidman in Dior

Although I liked the risk-taking aspect of this dress, it shortened Nicole Kidman’s petite frame in a way that wasn’t appealing. Still, the dress itself is a work of art.

Iman in Christian Siriano

Of course, Iman looks good in whatever she wears, but only she can pull off the gorgeous purple color and extravagant detail around the neck.

Ashley Graham in Prabal Gurung

Not her best look, but I do like the bell sleeves and the color.

Drew Barrymore

I do like this outfit on Drew Barrymore, but perhaps not for this event. Still, it looked good.

Gigi Hadid in Zuhair Murad

Well, don’t put her in a room next to Drew Barrymore. But it is as if Gigi Hadid really worked hard to figure out what she was dressing for– her Supermodel award. Look at that pose.

Serena Williams in Versace

Did this woman just have a baby?

Solange Knowles in Jean Paul Gaultier

Don’t try this at home – but I do love how Solange always takes fashion to another level.

Patty Jenkins

She certainly dresses the part.

Tracee Ellis Ross in Prabal Gurung

I’m a fan of the way the lip matches the dress. Tracee Ellis Ross doesn’t always put on a lot of makeup or do up her hair, though she does concentrate on the outfit. This time around, though, she looks super glam.

Worst Dressed
Martha Stewart

All black ok. But those shoes?

Nina Agdal

Those pants were begging to hemmed.

Aly Raisman in Christian Siriano

I love Christian Siriano and I love Aly Raisman. Unfortunately this dress overpowered her, the color was all wrong, and she stood out, but not in a good way.

Tove Lo

It’s like disco meets Sandra Dee.
