Dove's Self-Esteem Project Launches Pinterest Page

Dove Self-Esteem Project Hosts 'Pinspiring' Workshop for Girls To Launch New Pinterest Self-Esteem Page
Anxiety about one’s appearance is a feeling shared by most women and girls, even ones as young as ten years old. Sadly, 9 out of 10 girls would like to change one thing about the way that they look…at least one thing. Dove stands behind the belief that everyone should have the tools dispel those feelings. The Dove Self-Esteem Project has created a new Pinterest page that solely focuses on self-esteem. It provides free exercises on self-esteem, activities and workshop guides to motivate women and embrace the opportunity to help the young girls in their lives reach their full potential without the shackles of low self-confidence.
The Dove Self-Esteem Project has long been delivering self-esteem education to young people to help them build positive self-esteem and reach their full potential,” Jennifer Bremner, Director of Marketing, said. “Dove recognizes that women and girls spend a great deal of time on social media. Now when girls need a self-esteem boost, their mothers or role models in their lives can rely on practical and easy-to-use self-esteem inspiration right on their phones.”
The Dove Self-Esteem Pinterest Page, Pinterest.com/SelfEsteem, provides every woman and girl their own personal confidence booster. The boards contains more than 80 pins that use curriculum developed by the Dove Global Advisory Board, that talk about five self-esteem topics proven to have an impact on a girl’s body confidence and self-esteem. There are also sample scenarios, such as a parent suspecting her daughter may be experiencing cyberbullying.
If you want to become a part of the Dove Self-Esteem Project you can do so in several ways:
