Celebrity Style: 4 Trends We Can Get Behind

Fashion magazines often say celebrity trendsetters are established by their ability to take risks. In my opinion, however, celebrity trendsetters are created through an ability to own what he/she wears and to make it look effortless. That’s exactly what these celebrity trendsetters are doing. These women are showing off celebrity style trends we can get behind, and you will want to try at home.

Jennifer Hudson – Bold Prints

Did you see this spectacular floral dress worn by Jennifer Hudson to an appearance on Good Morning America? I would say its a great example of one of the reasons Alessandro Michele has done so well with his revamp of the Gucci brand. Am I right? Big bold floral comes to the forefront every Spring and for good reason. This is certainly a trend that makes every outfit pop. Kudos to Hudson for wearing it so well.

Anne Hathaway – Flea Market Find

Guess celebs are showing off their best fashions on a morning show. Anne Hathaway talked about the $15 flea market dress her stylist found for her to wear for her appearance on Good Morning America. Not only did donning this dress promote sustainable fashion, but it also proved to us you can always find diamonds in the rough when it comes to fashion – even in a flea market.

Margot Robbie – High Neck

While Margot Robbie is not the first person I would think of to rock a high neck look (quite the opposite actually) I think she does it quite nicely in this embellished Prada number with Delfina Delettrez jewels. High necks can be sexy – showing off toned arms and enhancing a long neck. They can also be incredibly feminine and pretty. Whether sleeveless or with billowing sleeves, this is definitely a trend I can get behind.

Kate Holmes – Lace

Lace. It’s not just for wedding dresses anymore. And it’s not just for tops either, as Katie Holmes recently proved, taking a risk by rocking these white lace pants with metallic accessories and gold pumps nonetheless. While I would be cautious trying this look at home, Ms. Holmes proves it can be done.
