Put Some Spring In Your Step With Block Heels

Thank God it all comes back to the block heel. Roger Vivier can be credited with this shoe silhouette which was considered very new and different 1965, when it came down the Yves Saint Laurent runway. Actually that one had a square toe and looked more like a Pilgrim shoe with it’s large metal buckle. In fact the same shoes has been brought back this season, I digress. I just love my fashion history.

What is old is almost always new again especially when it comes to fashion so it should come as no surprise block heels are once again on trend for spring. Today the chunkier squared heel comes in everything from pumps to sandals. Now I could have picked sky-high versions, but why? The best part about a block heel is not just their comfort (they help balance your weight) but they look just as chic at 2 inches as they do at 4. So why not give your feet a break this season? In case you have not noticed, shoes are getting lower (God heard my prayers).

Here are some block heels I am LOVING this season!

YES! I LOOK FORWARD TO #GROWINGYOUNGER
