While the 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards were, for me, a relative bore – sure, Game of Thrones won for the millionth time and the ever-so-stylish Rami Malek took home Lead Actor in a Drama, but the rest of the night didn’t really hold my attention.
Except for the fashion! Yes, it was a night of stellar gowns with some more experimental than others. As one of the first awards shows of the season, the Emmys always brings it! This time, the red carpet awards season has begun on a high note. Let’s check out the best gowns of the night.

I don’t know what it was about this dress – it’s a bit young and the hair does nothing for me. But I do love me some good floral.
Cutouts and Asymmetrical Lining
